BIOGRAPHY
Brandon is a Progressive Metal/Metal/Rock/Pop drummer who plays for the hard rock band THE UNXPECTED in Singapore. He played for the Extreme Metal Band WAR ENSEMBLE and was the drummer for the now de-funct Progressive Metal Band APHELION. Brandon is a proud endorser of MAPEX DRUMS.
Brandon has experience playing in the club circuit, as well as sessioning and recording for a number of notable bands and international artists such as KIKO LOUREIRO from the Brazilian Progressive Metal Band ANGRA, EMIL CHAU (Zhou Huajian), WU JIAHUI, JAYCEE CHAN, RICHIE JEN (Ren Xianqi), LEE SHENG JIE, LEON LAI, SHIRLYN TAN, WENDI KOH, MELT9SNOW, HEAVEN & EARTH, and one of America's top blues guitarists, EUGENE HIDEAWAY BRIDGES, to name a few. Brandon was also involved in, and appeared in a JAYCEE CHAN music video. He played with The AMPs as well as recorded the music sound track for the local hit movie 881 and its sequel 12 LOTUS. THE AMPs have also appeared in the Singapore Speak Mandarin Campaign 2007 official music video.

Brandon conducts one-on-one lessons exclusively at Backbeats studio. He uses his unorthodox teaching methods to instill the fundamentals of drumming into his students. Lessons are carefully planned for each student’s individual needs and goals, all the way from a beginner to an advanced drummer. Brandon believes that there is a lot to learn in the world of drumming, and one should not be complacent in the art of drumming and rhythm because its boundaries are endless.
